Quick and cute, Halloween Fruit Strip Classroom Treats

Hi Everyone!

It is that time of year, when the kiddoes will bring in classroom treats for Halloween, or for Fall Harvest Festival, or for whatever they are calling the celebration nowadays.  We celebrate All Hallow’s Eve because it is the evening before All Saints Day.  With all of the strict rules about bringing in food:  it has to be commercially wrapped, it has to be nut-free, it has to be peanut-free, etc., it becomes difficult to send in treats.  But, the kids still enjoy getting a special little something to eat.  So, I go for the fruit strips.  There are many varieties out there, so you have a lot to choose from.  The one I used is SunRype, which is gluten-free, nut-free and vegan and no added sugar.  (The fruit sugar is 11g)  They can be eaten by those who are affected with many food allergies.  I bought mine in our local grocery store for 2 for $1.00.  But, if you can’t find them, I will leave the link below.  You can get 55 strips for under $20.  You can probably take care of a couple of classrooms with one box.
