I have a REALLY cute project for you this week, and it is useful, too!
A Rudolph pillow box ornament (if you want) that uses the Trim Your Stockings Thinlits by Stampin’ Up! Here he is…
Isn’t he adorable? I love his big, red, glittery nose! And, he is still a pillow box, one that is “self-closing”. (Unless, you stuff him with yummy treats, then he might just stay open in the back.) Because he is made with the Trim Your Stockings Thinlits, he is also just the right size for a gift card!
Or, a little treat or two…
And, like the “self-closing” boxes, you can just squeeze to open, and relax to close.
With a handy hanger, he will also be a wonderful ornament on your Christmas tree, or a surprise gift on someone’s doorknob.
Trim Your Stocking Thinlits Dies by Stampin’ Up!
Soft Suede Cardstock 8 1/2″ by 5 1/2″
Scraps of: Whisper white, basic black, gold foil, early espresso, red glimmer paper and Quilted Christmas dsp.
How festive it would be to have a whole herd of Rudolphs hanging on your Christmas tree or fireplace mantle. I would love to know if you give this a try, please let me know in the comments.
And, until we meet again, may your days be blessed! ~Darby
Today I have a very cute favor box, that reminds me of a cubic pumpkin. It was made using the Foil Frenzy Designer Series Paper and the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch from Stampin’ Up!.
Aren’t they cute? It would make a fun table favor or place card for Thanksgiving or another festive fall celebration. I originally made them for the large Hershey’s Kisses, the ones that are just under 2″ diameter at the bottom. They would fit the pumpkin just as it is. Sadly, all of my large kisses went missing. Instead, I made a small box for the inside bottom, just big enough for one Ferrero Rocher, or similar sized candy.
It’s Christmas in July, oops, I mean August. I am a bit late with this, but it just looks so festive, I can’t resist posting one last Christmas idea for now. Here they are, Christmas Cracker Gift Boxes, made with the oh-so-shiny Foil Frenzy Specialty Designer Series Paper pack.
The “box” portion, where the sentiment layer sits, measures 3 1/2″ by 3″, and it is 2″ deep, a nice size for a gift or some goodies. The entire cracker measures 7 1/2″ by 3″ by 2″ deep. I used the Carols of Christmas stamp set, which is available now to order. Continue reading “Christmas Cracker Gift Box”
