A Friendly Ghost Favor Box

Hi Everyone!

Next week I will be starting more Christmas projects, but I couldn’t resist showing these cute little Ghost favor boxes to finish out my All Hallow’s Eve projects.  Here they are!

Scroll down for a video link for this project

I used the mitten outline from the Many Mittens Framelits by Stampin’ Up!  You could cut him either way, he will just be right or left “handed”.  Then, I cut out the flower outline and cut it in half for his mouth, and two of the “oven mitten loops”, and used the inside pieces for his eyes.  The “Boo!” was hand written on a piece of Pumpkin Pie card stock, but you could use any scrap, and the cut with the SU Classic Label Punch, then I fed the label back in to cut it shorter.  I used a piece of soft suede card stock 1/8″ by 1 1/4″ that I cut by hand for the little sign post.  Then just adhered his face and sign with multipurpose glue.

The box is 1″ by 1 1/4″ by 2″ tall.

The box was made from Sahara Sand card stock, but you could use any color you wish.  Start with a piece 5″ by 3 1/4″, and score at 1″ on all four sides.  Cut and assemble the box as you normally would, using a strong adhesive like Fast Fuse or Tear and Tape.  I used liquid multipurpose glue on one of the 1 1/4″ sides of the box to adhere the little ghost on.

So cute!

These would make very cute table decorations or place cards, just write the name of your guests on the sign or the bottom of the ghost.

I hope you enjoyed this quick little project.  It shows another way to use the mitten framelit, and I love getting more for my money!

So, here is the video, and until we meet again, may your days be blessed!  ~Darby
